Lucie Beauchemin: Principal Designer + Owner

With more than 30 years of experience in the business—and almost 20 years at the wheel of her own business—Lucie Beauchemin is still inspired to shepherd her clients’ visions from concept to reality. The product of an artistic family, Lucie established her career path early on; she earned a degree in interior design from Mt. Ida College and went right to work at a firm where she designed yachts. Next was a stint at another company, where she worked on design for Middle Eastern palaces. After that, she struck out on her own: In 1997, Lucie launched Beauchemin Grassi Interiors as the sister firm to her husband’s Grassi Design Group. Off the clock, Lucie is most often found at home cooking, gardening or practicing yoga—or sailing with her family to a new and exciting locale.
